Converting Nickels, Dimes and Quarters to Pennies

How to convert Coins to Pennies:

  • A nickel is worth 5 pennies.
  • A dime is worth 10 pennies.
  • A quarter is worth 25 pennies
  • Multiply the number of a type of coin times its value in pennies.
  • Example: How many pennies are three dimes worth? 3*10=30
